JAKARTA: Health Minister Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih and Attorney General Hendarman Supandji on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding to provide legal assistance to the ministry.
The five-year MoU stated that the ministry and the AGO would handle the former's legal problems in the scope of civil and state administration laws.
With the MoU, the ministry could ask the AGO for legal aid, consultation and "other legal action", the document read.
"The Health Ministry indeed has various civil law problems, especially those related to the control of state assets. On the other hand, the AGO has the resources and expertise to give legal consultation and assistance in this matter," Endang said. -JP
