MEDAN: The North Sumatra branch of the Indonesian Forum for Budget Transparency (Fitra) criticized an eight-day trip to China by several legislative councilors, calling it a vacation.
Reports say eight councilors from Commission B, which oversees economic issues, have departed for China.
The councilors are said to be using the occasion to attend food and investment exhibitions.
Fitra spokesman Elfanda Nanda said the councilors' trip should be questioned because they were not invited to the exhibition. He said he suspected they were vacationing. - JP
