Fira Beranata, wife of Din Syamsuddin – chairman of Indonesia's second largest Muslim organization Muhammadiyah – died on Thursday morning, a Muhammadiyah spokesman said. She was 42.
Abdul Mukhti, an executive at the organization, told The Jakarta Post that Fira died on her way to Metropolitan Medical Center hospital after allegedly having a heart attack at her home in Pejaten, South Jakarta.
Abdul said the funeral would be held at Tanah Kusir public cemetery in South Jakarta at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
