The House of Representatives pledged on Friday to deliberate 16 bills in the next sitting session, which will commence on Aug. 16.
"We are deliberating and will debate Protocol Bill, Legal Aid Bill, Scouts Bill, Heritage Bill, Housing and Residence Bill, Horticultural Bill, Finance Services Authority Bill, the bill on the Constitutional Court Law revision, Immigration Bill, Money Laundering Bill, Fund Transfer Bill, Currency Bill, Geospatial Information Bill, Public Accountant Bill, Financial Safety Net Bill, and Reserve Component Bill," House Speaker Marzuki Alie told a plenary session on Friday.
The plenary marked an end to the current sitting session, which began on July 12.
Marzuki also said that the House would also prepare a package of bills to revise political-related laws.
The House has repeatedly come under fire for its failure to meet its own target of legislation program.
