Govt to privatize three state enterprises this year

The government said Tuesday it would privatize state enterprises Kertas Padalarang, Primissima, and Sarana Karya this year.

"The three companies are part of our privatization programs this year," assistant deputy for privatization and restructurization of state enteprises Dwijanti Tjahyaningsih said as quoted by Antara news agency.

Yanti said the divestment plans had been approved by finance minister, but they still need an approval from the House of Representatives.

Kertas Padalarang is a paper producer, Primissima is dealing with textile, and Sarana Karya is a Buton island-based asphalt producer.
