Mild quake shakes Lampung

An earthquake measuring 5.4 magnitudes jolted Lampung Tuesday afternoon. The state weather agency issued a no-tsunami warning following the tremor.

According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BKMG), the quake was centered 141 kilometers south of Krui at a depth of 10-kilometers below sea level. The quake hit the area at around 3:03 p.m.

Earlier in the morning, a 5.6-magnitude earthquake shook Ujungkulon of West Java. The epicenter of the tremor was located 103 kilometers southwest of Ujungkulon at a depth of 15 kilometers below sea level.

There were no immediate reports on damage or injury.
