JAKARTA: Publicly listed integrated coal mining company PT Indika Energy Tbk has received a Gold Award from the Indonesian Green CSR Awards for its commitment to the environment and community.
The company officially received the award on Thursday, its second award recently after receiving an Asia-Pacific award in Singapore at the end of July.
The company's senior vice president, Rico Rustombi, said social activities had become an integral part of Indika's corporate culture.
"Social responsibility is our core value," he said, adding that thecompany had pioneered the establishment of health facilities by working with the All-Indonesia Workers Union to provide clinics for employees. - JP
