Police probe five terrorist suspects

The National Police are investigating five terrorist suspects, who were arrested Saturday in West Java.

“It is confirmed. There are five suspects. They brought to the police headquarters yesterday (Saturday),” police spokesman Insp. Gen. Edward Aritonang said Sunday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.

Edward said that he had urged the Antiterror 88 squad to complete its investigation as soon as possible in order to be announced to public.

“I have not received any report on the suspects’ identities yet,” he said, adding that the police would hold a press conference in related to terrorism on Sunday evening.

On Saturday, the antiterror special detachment raided and arrested Fahri and Hamzah in Bandung, West Java, for their possible involvement in terrorism.

Meanwhile, Abdul Gofur, Ane and an unidentified person were arrested in Subang for their possible role in planning attack toward President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
