The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) said it would delay announcing the results of the national census in Jakarta.
“We haven't completed it. We need a little more time,” Jakarta BPS head Agus Suherman said Wednesday, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
The city's population is 9.6 million people, according to the most recent latest census data
The agency previously estimated that Jakarta’s population would reach 9.23 million in 2010.
