Bekasi transportation agency has ticketed drivers of around 20 public minivans with illegal advertisements on the vehicles’ interiors, which often covers route information.
Agency head Tri Ardianto said that public minivans often disobey the promotion restriction. “They don’t event pay the advertisement tax,” he said Wednesday.
The ticketed public minivans traveled the Bekasi bus terminal-Pondok Gede route and Bekasi bus terminal-Teluk Pucung route, he added.
Tempointeraktif.com observed that most public minivans illicitly promoted energy drink products and medicines.
