DENPASAR: Foreign Investment in Bali has increased to Rp 1
ENPASAR: Foreign Investment in Bali has increased to Rp 1.7 trillion (US$185.1 million) up to the second quarter of 2010, as compared to Rp 1.25 trillion in 2009.
Nyoman Suwirva Patra, Bali chapter of Investment Board head, said investors still considered Bali an attractive place to do business.
Bali ranks fourth as a favorable place for investment after Jakarta (1,923.5 million), East Java ($489 million) and Papua ($201.4 million).
The provincial administration has targeted to attract Rp 2.28 trillion in new investment until the end of 2010. “We are optimistic to achieve the target.” — JP
