ASEAN Federation of Mining Association (AFMA), an association of mining groups in Southeast Asia, will hold the 9th Asia Pacific Mining Conference and Exhibition (APMCE) in Jakarta in October.
The event will be held in Shangri-La Hotel on Oct. 13-14, APMCE's chairman of organizing committee Tony Wenas said Friday.
"We expect the event to be opened by Coordinating Minister for Economy Hatta Radjasa," Tony said, adding that the event would be attended by wide range of stake holders in mining industry, including mining companies, policy makers, investors, and many more.
"Over 550 executives are exploring new investments and emerging opportunities from ASEAN and the rest of Asia," Tony said.
