German prosecutors say police have searched the offices of organizers and security firms following the deadly stampede at the Love Parade techno music festival last month that killed 21 and left some 500 injured.
A spokesman for prosecutors in the western city of Duisburg, Detlef Nowotsch, said on Saturday the offices were raided last week. He declined to elaborate.
German news magazine Der Spiegel on Saturday reported police searched six offices of festival organizer Rainer Schaller across the country.
Prosecutors have opened an investigation into negligent manslaughter, but have not yet identified suspects.
The 21 people who died in Duisburg were aged 18 to 38 and included foreigners from Spain, Australia, Italy, Bosnia, China and the Netherlands.
