Fatal gas explosion in North Jakarta

An explosion at a welding gas refill center on Tuesday morning in Koja, North Jakarta, has allegedly killed at least two people and injured three others, kompas.com has reported.
Police officers have started investigating the scene of the explosion, which occurred at around 10:15 a.m. An ambulance was seen on standby near the shop on Jl. Mindi in Lagoa subdistrict.
A witness said that a decapitated head had landed six houses away from the shop in the blast.
The authorities have yet to make an official statement.
