JAKARTA: State engineering and construction firm PT Wijaya Karya (Wika) has secured a contract worth Rp 268 billion (about US$29.75 million) to relocate state oil and gas firm PT Pertamina’s six LPG storage tanks in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

Wika corporate secretary Natal Argawan Pardede said Tuesday that the contract would also include the construction of four new 2,500-metric-ton LPG storage tanks in the location.

Pertamina said it would relocate its LPG depots to a nearby area to make way for a new toll road. Wika secured Rp 3 trillion in contracts in the first half of the year. This year, the company expects to book Rp 10 trillion in contracts. — JP
