One dies in Mount Sinabung
eruption

A 54-year-old man died Sunday from a respiratory problem when he fled home during the Mount Sinabung eruption in North Sumatra.

Kompas.com reported that presidential special staff for social and natural disaster Andi Arief posted the news in his tweeter account.

"President has actively monitored the eruption," Andi said.

Report said at least 12,000 local people left their homes following the eruption.
