Anggodo gets four years for bribery

Anggodo Widjojo: (JP)A panel of judges at the Corruption Court in Jakarta sentenced businessman Anggodo Widjojo to four years in prison Tuesday for attempting to bribe Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) deputy chairmen.
Anggodo was found guilty of attempting to bribe Bibit Samad Rianto and Chandra M. Hamzah, deputy chairmen of the KPK to halt the corruption investigation into his fugitive brother Anggoro Widjojo.
State prosecutor had demanded Anggodo be sentenced to six years in prison and fined Rp 200 million (US$22,000).
