Summer Cocktails for Louis Vuitton Sunglasses Collection
Pacific Place
Aline Adita
Fashion lovers and socialites wait eagerly every year for Louis Vuitton’s famous cocktail parties debuting new collections. Movie stars, society stalwarts and fashion editors turned out in droves for the launching of the brand’s new shades (although most, surprisingly, were not in LV) in August.
Adeline Juni Mewengkang: This editor at large of Elle knows not only how to dress fashionably, naturally, but also inspiringly. The stunning bright lime green top perfectly matches her pencil skirt for a fantastic smart-casual chic look.
Ariadhitya Pramuhendra: Although the renowned young artist may appear to be playing safe in his fashion choices on this day, take a look at his amazing pair of Louboutin Rantus Orlato High Top Sneakers from the fall/winter 2010 collection men.
Fransiska Kansil: The off-the-shoulder look never fails. The prominent hotel PR executive looked deliciously fashionable and sassy in simple but strong accents from her necklace and silver clutch.
Steven Huang: A Yves Saint Laurent ikat-inspired blazer ain’t no Louis Vuitton, but all is forgiven when it’s this stunning. The understated Louis Vuitton deep maroon tote bag is a perfect accompaniment.
Aline Adita: The statuesque model-cum-presenter always knows how to dress. Following the dress code of the evening (bright colors), Aline came all dressed up in this breath-taking mini pink maxi dress – ideal to show off those enviably long legs.
Biyan Annual Show: As Time Goes By
Grand Ballroom at Hotel Mulia Senayan Jakarta
Mini AdjieAs one of the most prominent fashion
designer in Indonesia, Biyan annual show is one of most anticipated
fashion event every year. All fashionistas, socialites, designers,
movie stars and many others were flocking at the Grand Ballroom of
Hotel Mulia Senayan Jakarta wearing mostly Biyan’s creation (for
the ladies) and looking very stylish. It wasn’t easy to get these
pictures, as they were busy kissing cheek to cheek with others and
taking interviews from media. Here are some of my favorite
selections:
Shinta Kamdani: looking fabulous in simple origami inspired pleats dress designed by Biyan
Sabrina Alatas & Vitha Rusdi: this mother and daughter also arrived in another Biyan creation. I love the Greek goddess look on Vitha.
Insana Habibie: the creative mind behind limaran batik, Insana appeared in a shimmering gold tube dress accompany with one of her famous limaran batik scarf (hidden on her back)
James Thornandes & Jeffry Tan: the fashion stylist and the young designer decided to come in grey. James is looking consistent in his trench coat style while Jeffry wearing his own design.
Aida Nurmala: this modern look from the new fashion brand: Danjyo-Hiyoji on her somehow just not really working out. This white dress will work better for daytime and those futuristic flying s-pad with that faux-pas cape made her fit more in Star Wars ensemble.
Mini Adjie: She is one of two best dress winners that evening and I can’t agree more. This bluish purple simple dress designed by Biyan combine with stunning pink crystal necklace and fur clutch just gives her the total elegant look.
Step Out in Style: fitflop Grand Launching with Canteen
Canteen, Plaza Indonesia
Jennifer Karjadi
It was an “electra-fying” afternoon just like the invitation said to see all these multicolor fitflop’s flip-flops being launched in a fashion show style be the newcomer fashion brand: Danjyo – Hiyoji. It was fun to see more younger crowd who were dressing in style and not following the ridiculous dress code of the day which was: crystallized.
Madame Phyllis Hatfull: it is not everyday to see an Ambassador’s wife to actually come really in great style like this. She successfully fulfilled the dress code without overdone it. This grey origami inspire pleats dress by Issey Miyake is just excellent.
Jennifer Karjadi: this successful young restaurant entrepreneur also pulling silvery grey tube dress with cute pale pink grey mini cardigan. She gives pretty a new cuteness.
Els Ramadhinta: is revealing some skin in the right way with some low cut vest and jeans. The red heels are a great accent to her total look.
Sulung Landung: this a safe smart casual look that goes well for an afternoon event such this one.
