Susno to testify at Sjahril's trial

Former National Police chief detective Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji will testify at the graft trial of Sjahril Djohan at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday.
Susno was seen present at the court building, accompanied by his lawyer M. Assegaf, kompas.com reported.
State prosecutor alleged Sjahril handed over a bribe worth Rp 500 million (US$53,000) to Susno in December 2008, in hopes of ending a case involving PT Salma Arowana Lestari.
Sjahril had been asked to deliver the money to Susno by Haposan Hutagalong, the attorney
of Singaporean businessman Ho Kian Huat who was involved in the Salma Arowana corruption case. Susno has denied the allegations.
