Spain's Pedrosa onpole for San Marino

Dani Pedrosa has secured pole position for Sunday's San Marino Grand Prix with the fastest time in qualifying.

The Spaniard recorded the quickest lap on Saturday, of 1 minute, 33.984 seconds, to secure his fourth pole position othe season. He was the only rider to go under 1:34.
Standings leader Jorge Lorenzo of Spain will line up second after a fastest time of 1:34.256.
Pedrosa seized pole from Lorenzo with the last lap of the hour-long qualifying session.
Casey Stoner crashed early on but he recovered to finish third with 1:34.397.
Defending world champion Valentino Rossi continued his return from injury by finishing fourth in 1:34.470.
