As many as 15,000 revelers gathered in Senayan, Central Java on Sunday to join free homecoming trips for Idul Fitri holidays provided by several companies.
Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo said as quoted by kompas.com that the free homecoming trips were possible thanks to the cooperation between the city administration and private sectors.
The homecoming trip providers are Bank BRI, PT Holcim, Yamaha motorcycle producer, and retailer Giant and Hero.
65-year-old Basuni and 54-year-old Rohani said they were thankful for the free homecoming trip as they could spend the Idul Fitri holidays with their families in Surakarta, Central Java without thinking about transportation expenses.
