Police tighten security at Senen station

Police have tightened security at the Senen train station to prevent any crimes during the Idul Fitri homecoming trips.

Kompas.com reported on Sunday that police officers were on standby at the station eight spots such the main entrance gate and ticketing offices.
 
"350 police officeres from the City Police, the Central Jakarta Police, the Senen Police, the Mobile Brigade, and the antibomb Gegana squad are instructed to guard the station," Senen station operation head Adj. Sr. Comr. Iman Wahyudi said as quoted by kompas.com.

The police officers would also control traffic at the Senen intersection to minimize traffic congestion.
