Jakarta has seen less traffic across the city with many of the residents had begun leaving the capital to celebrate the Idul Fitri holiday which is only a few days away.
News portal kompas.com reported that roads in the outskirt of Jakarta, like Pondok Gede and Bekasi have been more quiet, contrary to the normal condition.
Traffic has also been smooth in Pinang Ranti and Cawang in East Jakarta; Pancoran and Jl. Gatot Subroto in South Jakarta.
About 2.2 million people are expected to leave the capital city to celebrate Idul Fitri in their respective hometowns.
