Transjakarta buses to have new schedules during holiday

Transjakarta has announced new schedules for its busway fleet for the eve of
Idul Fitri and during the Islamic holidays.
Sunandar Saputra, a Transjakarta staff member, said all buses would stop operating
at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday due to the Idul Fitri eve parade, or takbiran.
"Our last buses will leave at 6:30 p.m.," he said as quoted by tempointerakti.com Thursday. Ticket
counters will open until 6 p.m.
During the Idul Fitri holiday season from Sept. 10 to Sept. 19, Transjakarta
will operate its buses from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The company will offer special routes during the holidays, which will start at
6:30 a.m., to cater for Jakarta
residents who wish to spend the holidays at recreational sites.
The buses will be plying routes from Pulogadung in East Jakarta to Ragunan in
South Jakarta (Sept. 10-13); Harmoni in Central Jakarta to Ragunan (Sept.
10-19); Harmoni to Ancol in North Jakarta (Sept. 10-19); and Senen in Central Jakarta to Ragunan (Sept. 10-19).
