Nine suspects named for attack on church leaders

The National Police have named nine suspects for the violent assault on two HKBP church leaders Sunday as part of their effort to find the motive behind the crime.

National Police chief Gen. Bambang Hendarso Danuri said at the presidential office in Jakarta on Tuesday that the police would continue to investigate the case to discover the motive for the attack.

“We’ve named nine suspects,” said Bambang at a press conference on the case after a meeting with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, as quoted by Antara state news agency.
