President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono criticized Tuesday the Indonesian Stock Exchange as it closed the stock market trading for a week.
Yudhoyono said stock exchanges around the globe usually only had two or three days off.
"Does not it [a one-week holiday] bother business activities ?" he said as quoted by kompas.com.
Yudhoyono launched his critique while opening a cabinet meeting.
