President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to monitor the exodus of Idul Fitri holiday makers returning from their hometowns back to Jakarta on Friday.
The presidential press bureau said the head of state would visit a traffic monitoring post in Cikopo near the Cikampek toll road gate in West Java. Another traffic bottleneck to be observed by the president will be the Jomin junction in Karawang, also in West Java.
The president is also expected to talk to holiday makers.
Yudhoyono and his entourage, including State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam and Transportation Minister Freddy Numberi, are slated to depart at 8:30 a.m.
