Police form team to investigate journalist's death

The police have formed an investigation team in relation to the death of Sriwijaya Post journalist Arsep Pajario, whose body was found in his house in Palembang, South Sumatra, on Friday.

“South Sumatra Police chief and I have met, and we have formed a team to investigate the [allege] murder,” National Police chief detective Comr. Gen. Ito Sumardi said Saturday as quoted by kompas.com.

Ito said that one of the main difficulties in the case was very few witnesses. “We haven't find any clue that lead to the perpetrator identitiy,” he said.

Arsep was found dead in his house on Jl. S. Suparman in Citra Dago housing complex on Friday The police believed the victim had died for three days before the body was found.
