Tourist found dead off Banten beach

Maksum, 17, of Pabuaran sub district was found dead on Tawing waters in Cinangka sub district, Serang, Banten, after large wave dragged him on Sunday afternoon.
Cinangka Police chief Adj. Comr. Hamzah said that the Search and Rescue Team found Maksum body on sea bottom at around 2:45 p.m. on Monday.
“We’ve made to evacuate the victim despite the high wave,” he said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
The remains of Maksum had been brought home by his family, added Hamzah.
On Sunday, large wave at Tawing Beach dragged three tourists into hazardous waters. Two swimmers, Marudin and Sodri, both 15, were reportedly rescued. None of the three youths knew how to swim.
