The Fortress of People’s Democracy (Bendera) plans to hold a protest rally involving 1,000 motorcycles against the Malaysian government on Wednesday afternoon in Jakarta.

The group plans to hold a motorbike convoy in an attempt to warn the Malaysian Ambassador and Malaysians to leave the country, the group spokesman Doni Hutabarat told kompas.com.

“At 1 p.m., we'll start the convoy [from the group's headquarters on Jl. Diponegoro, Central Jakarta] heading first to the Malaysian Ambassador’s residence on Patra Kuningan, and later to a number of malls and hotels,” Doni said.

Earlier this year, Bendera threw feces at the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta, in a reaction to the arrest of three Indonesian civil servants by the Malaysian Police after Indonesian inspectors caught seven Malaysian fishermen red-handed for illegally trespassing and fishing in Indonesian waters.

The throwing of feces at the Malaysian Embassy has drawn public anger from the neighboring country, with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak accusing the Bendera demonstrators of being mercenaries.
