A gas station in Mangunjaya, Bekasi, collapsed when it was hit by a tornado Wednesday. No one was injured in the incident.
Gas station manager Firman said a tornado traveling east hit the station at around noon. “The fuel station collapsed immediately,” he said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com
Scores of motorists and nine attendants were at the gas station when the freak incident occurred, but no one was injured, Firman said.
The 8,000-square-meter station, which has eight pumps, will likely be closed for up to three months for repairs, Firman said.
