Pilot still in critical condition after plane crash

Alexander Supeli was still in critical condition after his Cessna Super Dekatlon plane crashed in Husein Sastranegara Airbase during an acrobat stunt at the Bandung Air Show, in West Java, on Friday morning.

“He's still under anesthesia after undergoing a surgery, which was done by seven surgeons,” Bayu Wahyudi, director of Hasan Sadikin Hospital, said as quoted by kompas.com.

Supeli, 54, was reported to have suffered a broken leg and 30 percent of burn injuries.

He was attempting an acrobat stunt when the plane crashed and burnt.
