Comment: Comr. Arafat gets five years for corruption

Sept 21, online: The South Jakarta District Court found Police detective Comr. Muhammad Arafat Enanie guilty of corruption on Tuesday, sentencing him to five years in jail. Presiding judge Haswandi said Arafat was proven to have accepted bribes on a number of occasions. The court also fined Arafat Rp 150 million (US$17,000) “Arafat accepted bribes from Haposan Hutagalung, Andi Kosasih and Roberto Santonius. He also accepted a Harley Davidson motor bike from Alif  Kuncoro,” Haswandi said.
