South Jakarta housing complex still inundated

Water still inundates parts of Bintaro subdistrict in South Jakarta on Saturday following hard rain the night before.

Jl. Madrasah was still inundated more than half a meter high, while water has begun receding in other parts of Bintaro.

Some residents of Jl. Madrasah evacuated to a local mosque, while others have chosen to stay at their homes.

Hard rain that fall in Jakarta on Friday evening has led to the overflowing of Pesanggrahan River, sending rain to flood Bintaro areas; at some places water reached a meter high.
