Tangerang begins collapsed dam repair

Local administration has begun work to repair parts of Situ Sasak dam in Pamulang, South Tangerang, which overflowed and collapsed on early Saturday.

Police reported that water inundating roads near the dam have begun to recede following the repair work.

However, traffic between Bumi Serpong Damai and Pamulang, affected by the inundation, has yet to normalized.

Heavy rain in the area on Friday evening had caused the dam to overflow and collapse early Saturday.
