Wife of former Singapore PM Lee Kuan Yew dies

Singapore's government says Kwa Geok Choo, the wife of the country's first prime minister and the mother of its current leader, has died.
Kwa, 89, suffered strokes in 2008 and had been bedridden and unable to speak since then.
The Prime Minister's Office said she died Saturday. She is survived by her husband Lee Kuan Yew, her sons Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Lee Hsien Yang, and daughter Lee Wei Ling.
