Big defeat for Woods at Ryder Cup

Tiger Woods has taken his worst loss ever in the Ryder Cup, teaming with Steve Stricker for a 6-and-5 rout by Lee Westwood and Luke Donald in an alternate-shot match.
Westwood finished off the Americans on Sunday with a 6-foot par putt at the 13th hole, pulling Europe within 6-5 in the overall points at Celtic Manor. The home team is winning the other five team matches as well.
Woods and Stricker had never been beaten as a team, winning four matches at last year's Presidents Cup and their first two in Wales. But they were thrashed by the European duo, which led 4 up after nine holes when play was suspended Saturday because of darkness.
For Woods, the loss is worse than a 5-and-3 defeat to Colin Montgomerie and Bernhard Langer in 1997.
