Cloudy weather and rain in Jakarta on Friday

Friday is likely to be mostly cloudy in Greater Jakarta, with chances of showers in a number of areas during the afternoon and evening, the national weather agency predicted.

The morning is forecast to be cloudy throughout the city, and showers are anticipated in the Thousand Islands regency and Bekasi.

In the afternoon light  rain is expected in South and East Jakarta and Depok, with heavier pours in West Jakarta, Tangerang and Bogor, with the rest of the city remaining overcast.

Rain clouds will linger into the evening, causing showers to spread to all Jakarta municipalities, Tangerang, Bekasi and Bogor, with heavier rain in Depok.
