Fire razes carriages at Banten station

A fire destroyed 25 carriages in Rangkasbitung station, Banten on Monday as firefighters and hundreds of local people failed to put it out.

Rangkasbitung station deputy head Suwarno said the carriages were empty after just being washed.  

"Then we see a fire in between two carriages," Suwarno said as quoted by Elshinta.com.

Because of the fire, hundreds of passengers were unable to go to their offices.
