House commission III to report speaker to honorary board

The
House of Representatives Commission III on law will officially submit
its vote of no confidence on the legislative body speaker, Marzuki Ali
from the Democratic Party, to the honorary board at around 1 PM today.
"So
far 31 legislators have given their signatures [to support the vote],"
one of the commission deputy chairmen, Golkar Party's Azis Syamsuddin,
told reporters at the House in Jakarta on Monday.
Azis said that
Marzuki had violated the internal regulation by announcing the
submission of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's proposal letter for
the candidacy of Comr. Gen. Timur Pradopo as the National Police chief
to the public prior to the commission.
"The regulation stipulates
that the proposal submission must be announced to the commission first,
then to the public," Azis said.
