Timur's asset worth Rp 4.41 billion: KPK

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) says that National Police chief candidate Comr. Gen. Timur Pradopo's asset ammounts up to Rp 4.41 billion.
"There is an asset worth Rp 435 million which has an unclear source of funding, but we have yet to find any indication of corruption," one of the KPK deputy chairmen, M. Jasin, said during a hearing with the House of Representatives Commission III on Law and human Rights in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Jasin also said that Timur's asset had doubled compared to the one recorded in 2008.
Previously, the Financial Transaction and Analysis Center (PPATK) said that Timur's bank account worth merely around Rp 78 million.
The House commission is currently conducting a hearing to probe on Timur's track record.
Timur would undergo a fit-and-proper test before the House commission on Thursday.
