All instant noodles from Indonesia inspected in Taiwan

A- A A+

Taiwan has inspected all instant noodles from Indonesia after it found a banned preservative in Indomie noodle several days ago.

Kompas.com reported that Mie Sedap noodle produced by Wings Food was among those being examined by the Taiwan health authority.

An Indonesian living in Taiwan, Okti Li, said all Indonesian noodles were still being checked whether they contained prohibited preservatives or not.

Indomie producer Indofood Consumer Brand Product Sukses Makmur (ICBP) has claimed that its Indomie noodle had met all requirements to be exported to Taiwan.

It suspected that the raided Indomie noodle might be imported from another country, which has a different standard on preservatives.
