Banten Police have assumed that a recent blaze, which destroyed 25 coaches at Rangkasbitung train station in Banten on Monday, was allegedly intended.
The police said that an investigation found charcoal and gasoline near 3, 4 and 6 railway lanes. “We already knew that the fire was not an accident. We believe that it happened on purpose,” Banten Police chief Brig. Gen. Agus Kusnadi said Thursday as quoted by kompas.com.
Agus said that his team was still investigating the case and pursuing suspects, identified as Dp and Ro. Meanwhile, another suspect, Ek, had been arrested, he added.
