Mild quake hits West Java

A magnitude 5.3 earthquake hit Sukabumi in West Java on Friday morning, but there were no reports of casualties or damage.
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency reported that the quake hit at 02:48 a.m. and the epicenter was located 120 kilometers southwest of Sukabumi or 195 kilometers of Jakarta at 10 kilometers beneath the surface.
The agency did not raise a tsunami alert following to the tremor.
