Singer Ariel to be released next week

The National Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Marwoto Soeto has said that former lead singer of Peterpan pop band, Nazriel “Ariel” Irham, is scheduled to be released from detention next week after 120 days in prison.
Marwoto said that Ariel’s arrest will officially end on Oct. 23.
“The investigators are no longer having any right to arrest Ariel,” Marwoto said Friday as quoted by Tempointeraktif.com. However, Ariel is still subject to a scheduled report to police until court trials.
Ariel is implicated in a sex-tape scandal with girlfriend, presenter Luna Maya, and another presenter, Cut Tari. The scandal was first revealed to public through the Internet in June.
