Two alleged-robbers shot to death in Aceh

East Aceh Police killed two people who allegedly attempted to rob a Bank BRI branch in Pante Bidadari on Tuesday.
Two other armed robbers escaped, East Aceh Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Ridwan Usman said. The escaped robbers were carrying AK-47 riffles and Rp 100 million (US$11,200) in cash, he added.
The robbery took place at around 10:30a.m. local time. The robbers all wore helmets to cover their faces.
Two robbers waited on two motorcycles while two others went into the bank. Police are pursuing the two escaped suspects.
