French man faces trial in Bali for drug possession

A 49-year-old French national Garcia Jean Marc Patrice stood trial Wednesday for possession and distribution of illegal drugs at Denpasar District Court in Bali.
Garcia was arrested in his residence on Jl. Gunung Lumut, West Denpasar, in August, with 2.4 grams of hashish in his possession.
He is facing up to four years in jail if found guilty.
The court will continue the trial next week to hear witnesses.
