Bus bomb in Philippines kills 9, wounds 6

Authorities say a bomb explosion on a passenger bus in the southern Philippines has killed at least nine people and wounded six others.
Military spokesman Lt. Col. Randolph Cabangbang said Thursday that the blast ripped through the bus in Matalam township in the southern Mindanao region, where Muslim rebels and extortion gangs operate.
