Man United beat Stoke 2-1

Manchester United eased to a 2-1 win at Stoke City in the Premier League Sunday, courtesy of two goals from Javier Hernandez to end a torrid week for the 18-time champions.
United was in the headline earlier this week when striker Wayne Rooney asked to leave the club before changing his mind and signing a new contract. But with Rooney missing because of an ankle injury Mexican striker Hernandez settled a bruising, competitive contest with goals in the 27th and 86th minutes.
Stoke had leveled in the 81t through a spectacular curling strike from substitute Tuncay, which looked to have cost United a win. But Hernandez wrapped up victory late with a tap-in from close range.
