12 bodies found after ship accident

A search and rescue team recovered 12 bodies found on Maurole Beach in Ende, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.
The victims are believed to have been passengers on the Karya Terang ship, which sank in waters off Flores on Friday. Twelve other passengers remain missing.
The bodies were taken to Tc Hillers State Hospital in Maumere, Sikka regent Sosimus Mitang told Antara news agency Monday. Only five were identified.
The wooden ship capsized while carrying 54 passengers traveling to Maumere from the island of Palue. At least 30 people were believed to have made to safety.
